Child Custody Lawyer in Maryland
Child Visitation Attorney
State court’s continuing jurisdiction over matters relating to children must stem from earlier proceeding in which a state court had exercised such jurisdiction and represents the power of state court to modify its decrees or orders whereas later acquired power in a state court to modify a decree order of another state relating to children exists only when the state court has jurisdiction over the children acquired because such children are presently domiciled in the state. Seidlitz v. Seidlitz 23 Md.App. 327, 327 A.2d 779 Md.App. (1974).
